Want to become a tattoo artist? You're in the right place!
Our apprenticeship program is designed for aspiring tattoo artists at every stage of their journey—whether you're a complete beginner, a self-taught artist looking to refine your craft, or someone ready to pursue tattooing as a new career.
Over the course of 2 months, you'll train in a professional studio environment through a structured, hands-on curriculum. Weekly in-person lectures are paired with guided assignments to develop your skills throughout the week, either from home or in our studio. In the second month, you'll progress to supervised tattooing on real skin, putting your knowledge into practice under the guidance of experienced artists.
By the end of the program, you'll have developed a strong technical foundation and a comprehensive understanding of the tattoo industry. You'll leave with hands-on studio experience, professional knowledge of health, safety, and sanitization practices, licensing requirements, business and marketing strategies, portfolio development for both print and digital platforms, and an understanding of current industry trends and modern tattoo technology.

Curriculum
Week 1 :: Tattooing 101
Different styles of tattoos, copyright, social media, Procreate/design, tattoo machines and power, table set-up, fake skin stenciling, lining
Week 2 :: Black and Grey
Black/grey design, different stencils, needles, shading & fill-in, magnum, social media
Week 3 :: Color
Choosing and using color pigments, color mixing, same-color gradient, multi-color gradient, full-color gradient, social media, allergies/skin layer/tattoo depth
Week 4 :: Summary
Formal tattoo procedure, table set-up and clean-up, tattooing styles & choosing the right machine, stencil application methods, tattooing posture, tattoo techniques & tips
Week 5 :: Final Project
